Masonry & Hardscaping in Morris County, NJ

Retaining walls, paver walkways, steps, and patios built by the same crew that handles the excavation behind them. When the wall has to hold a hillside, the digging matters as much as the stone.

Retaining Walls

Retaining Walls

Boulder walls, segmental block walls, and terraced slopes that hold real grades. Because we run our own excavation equipment, the footing, drainage, and backfill behind the wall get built right, which is the difference between a wall that lasts and one that leans in five years.

  • Dry-stacked boulder walls and terraced slopes

  • Segmental block walls with integrated steps

  • Footing, drainage stone, and backfill done by the same crew

Patios & Outdoor Spaces

Paver and stone patios graded and drained so water moves away instead of ponding where you sit. We tie the hardscape into the yard's drainage plan, including discreet channel drains where the grade needs them.

Super knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cared about helping me save money. He suggested a more cost effective solution for a project I thought would break the bank, and the results were beyond my expectations.

Nick Russo · Verified Google review

After dealing with pooling issues and erosion problems, I needed professional help with grading and building a retaining wall. Nick and his team handled everything with true professionalism. The retaining wall looks amazing, and the property finally has the correct pitch.

Common questions

Before You Call

Do you build both boulder and block retaining walls?

Yes. Dry-stacked boulder walls, terraced slopes, and segmental block walls with steps. Which one fits depends on the grade, the soil, and the look you want. We walk the site and give you options with straight prices.

Why does excavation matter for a wall or patio?

Every wall and patio is only as good as what is under it. Footing depth, drainage stone, and compacted base are what keep stonework straight through freeze and thaw. We do that ground work with our own machines instead of subbing it out.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Bruno Enterprises (Bruno Inc.) is a licensed and insured New Jersey home improvement contractor (NJ license #13VH13550100). You can verify the license with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs.
